When the first 18 holes opened in March of '99, it quickly became evident that he well exceeded that goal with a layout that has golfers returning for more! Elevated tees, generously, sculpted fairways, and large bentgrass greens create one of the most dramatic stages for golf on the Grand Strand. Thistle Golf Club presents a formidable challenge to the most accomplished golfers. But with five sets of tees, it is an enjoyable course for all.
